In which I once again talk about something I haven't read yet. (Spoilers for BftC3)

The spoiler warning is for those, unlike myself, who avoid spoilers.

I won't be seeing it for weeks, so of course I had to read all the talk I could find on Battle for the Cowl 3.

The identity of the Batman-to-be is not surprising.

The identity of the Robin-to-be is even less surprising.

What is a little surprising, but pleasantly so? That apparently someone is thinking about doing something interesting with Jason Todd, in that they seem to be trying to make him more sympathetic. (Unfortunately this seems likely to be taking the form of adding some sort of abuse to his childhood, but it's comics, that's what they do.) This probably means that they're hoping to redeem him to some extent. I say this because it seems like they want him to have a background that's so bad that, having suffered through it, he could be forgiven anything.

I'm guessing, of course.
